To contribute by mail, please send a personal check made payable to “Friends to Elect Esther Scott” to: Friends to Elect Esther Scott PO Box 602 Gastonia, NC 28053 Please include your name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer to meet North Carolina state election law requirements. Contributions to Friends to Elect Esther Scott are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. North Carolina state law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer’s specific field for each individual whose contribution aggregate is in excess of $50 in an election. North Carolina law prohibits the solicitation of lobbyists, corporations and foreign nationals. Contributions must be from individuals and may not exceed $6,400 per person per election.
