Esther Scott has worked in over forty different industries, including tax preparation, postal delivery, government services, and website programming. This diverse employment gives her insight into a wide variety of economic needs for businesses, employers, and employees.
As her parents worked on military contracts, she grew up in a number of states ranging from Virgina to California but when she had the opportunity to move to the best state in the nation, she grabbed it with both hands. North Carolina is a part of God's Paradise.
Some people are lucky enough to be born here, the rest have to discover it.
Esther Scott has had the good fortune to live in Gastonia North Carolina for over a decade.
Growing up, Esther Scott was active in her church and community, including Scouting, earning a Girl Scout Gold Award. She graduated from Alma College in Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and earned a MBA through the University of Phoenix.
Living in Gaston County has given her the opportunity to gain insights into the rural community, learn the requirements of the suburban community, and bridge an understanding about the urban community. North Carolina is a diverse mix of neighbors from shore to mountains.
She served four years on the Gaston County Soil and Water Conservation District Board as an elected official and Chairperson. Within the Gaston County Republican Party, she had the honor as serving as secretary for two years.
